Race Career

I raced at Pine Ridge as a kid, and for my high school ski team. I still ski with some of the people I raced with - we are skiers for life. After a knee injury at 16, I pivoted to instructing and coaching skiing. Helping others love the sport and get faster brings me joy.

School + Career

I teach high school science, geography, tech, and outdoor education in King City and also coach the school ski team.

Fun Fact

The path of my life has been shaped by skiing and I have worked in the ski industry for 37 years. Many of the people I have instructed and coached have continued to ski, instruct, and coach themselves.
