Glacier Programs

Our programs are operated by Glacier Ski Club with coaches employed by Glacier Ski Club.  Some of our jr. programs also operate with the help of our fantastic volunteers.

We have some guiding objectives

  • Maximize number of days on snow with regular training at both MSLM and, if possible, escarpment clubs.
  • Leverage OCUP practice races early in the season and before point races to complement Glacier training days on escarpment, if possible.
  • Leverage Ontario FIS races to earn FIS points to enter late season FIS series in Ontario, Quebec and the United States (depending on quota allocations).

The SOD program is the entry and more less time intensive racing program.  It runs through ages 6 through 20 and we have base and extended programs and camps.  Click on the links below to explore.

The OCUP series is a provincial wide race series that will bring together the best racers from across the province and is the highest standard of competition for the U14/U16 age groups in Ontario.  It is a more demanding and training intensive program for any athlete that has participated int eh past or plan to participate in a high performance and extending program.

The FIS program is primarily designed around Ontario and Quebec FIS race series, giving athletes 20 to 25 race starts and the opportunity to experience what FIS racing is all about.  Additional racing opportunities are also available in North America throughout the season.
